COVID-19 (Coronavirus Response)
For most people in the world social distancing is a privilege few can afford. Only a few have enough water and soap to wash their hands and have food that lasts longer than a day.
Even in the toughest situations, there are incredible people doing everything they can to help people with limited resources. On March 13,2020, when the first covid-19 case was confirmed in Ethiopia, we realized there are people who are going to need our help. Therefore, with the support of a few compassionate donors and our partner https://tarkanfi-startwalking.org/ we were able to help a total of 165 families in Bishoftu and Dukam city in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. We provided food aid to those in desperate need to stay home. We also distributed soap, disinfection supplies, and went door-to-door making sure families understood good prevention methods.
